In an effort to make the best film possible for both a Deaf and hearing audience I have decided to co-direct Hamill with a Deaf director. The more I am involved with the Deaf community the more I realize that this is the best way to approach this film. It is apparent that I would have trouble conveying the Deaf experience, just as a Deaf director would have the same difficulty representing the hearing culture. This discovery has generated new excitement for me in this project and hope it will do the same for you all.
